Removing outside temperature sensor (Electronic climate control)




- Ignition off
- Remove the glove compartment. See Interior, exterior Panel and SRS passenger airbag module Panel and SRS Passenger Airbag Module
- Remove the soundproofing panel. See Interior, exterior Dashboard Dashboard
- Remove the outside temperature sensor. Twist the sensor counter-clockwise and pull it straight out
- Disconnect the sensor connector.

Installing outside temperature sensor (Electronic climate control)
In reverse order.

Finishing
- Check that the temperature sensor is working by reading off the outside temperature
- Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) were stored during fault-tracing.
