Ultransonic sensor and cable harness

Preparation




Make a note of the radio code.
Turn ignition key to position 0.
Remove the battery ground lead. Otherwise you might create diagnostic trouble codes.

Removing A post panel




- Remove rubber door sealing on the left or right side.
- Remove A post panel and clip left or right.
- Remove the passenger side grab handle (if necessary).

Removing/installing ultrasonic sensor




Remove:
- Remove sensor from roof liner (taped on roof liner).
- Remove connector from the sensor and take the cover away.
Install:
- Position sensor in the cover and mount the connector.
- Install the sensor in the roof liner.
- Check the fitting.

Removing/installing ultrasonic cable harness




Remove:
- Remove the panel under the dashboard on passenger side.
- Remove interior lightning completely.
- Undo sensor connector from ultrasonic module.
- Remove sensor cable from A post and take it out.
Install:
- Position sensor cable and install connector in the ultrasonic module.
- Install interior lightning.
- Install panel under the dashboard.

Installing A post panel
- Install A post panel.
- Turn ignition key to position II and mount the battery ground lead.
- Always read the diagnostic trouble codes in the VGLA alarm system.
