Removing entire door mirror




Remove:
- The control rod knob with panel.
- Electrically operated or heated mirrors: Remove the door panel, see Front door Front Side Door Assembly and remove the connector.
- The panel.
- The bolts (A) (3x).
- Feed through the operating cables with support or wiring.

Removing/installing electrical operating motors with bracket




Remove:
- The mirror glass, see Removing/installing mirror glass.
- Remove the bolts (3x).
- Remove the bracket with motor from the housing and disconnect the connector.
Install:
- The foam.
- The wiring to the motors.
- The motor and tighten the bolts.
- The mirror glass, see Removing/installing mirror glass
- Check function.

Installing entire door mirror





Note! Check the correct installation of the foam.

Install:
- Feed through the operating cables with support or wiring.

Note! Position the seal around the cables in a proper way before fitting the the cover panel.

Note! Apply a soap solution to the edges of the panel.

- The bolts (A) (3x). Tightening torque 10 Nm.
(Use bolts with a length of 20 mm)
- Electrically operated or heated mirrors: Position the connector and wiring with tape.
Install the door panel and small panel.
- Manually operated mirrors: install the control rod knob with panel.
- Check function.

Removing/installing mirror glass




Remove:
- Press the mirror in at (A).
- Pull the glass out of the bracket by lifting the securing pins.
- Remove the wiring.
- Carefully remove the connector from the glass.
Install:
- The connector.
- Press the glass carefully in position till it is blocked.

Note! Ensure that the pins go into the holes.

- Ensure that the wiring is properly fitted.

Removing/installing mirror edge and cover




Remove:
- The mirror glass see Removing/installing mirror glass.
- Cover: press the tabs (A) (4x) in and press the cover a little forward.
- Turn the mirror towards the door and press the tabs (B) (2x). Remove the cover.
- Turn the mirror back in position.
- Edge: remove the bolts (C) (4x).
Install:
- Edge with the bolts (C) (4x).
- Position the cover over the tabs (B) (2x) and press over the tabs (A) (4x).
