Description of immobilizer parameters

Transponder communication
Indicates if the communication between the transponder and the control module functioned correctly.
YES or NO

Code stored
Indicates whether the last received key code is stored as an approved code in the control module memory.
YES or NO

Key number
Indicates which key is in the ignition switch. Every key programmed into the control module is allocated a number between 1 and 6.

Query obtained
Displays whether the immobilizer control module is receiving an initiation signal from the engine control module (ECM).
YES or NO

Response
Indicates if the control module has given a positive (OK to start) or negative (not OK to start) response to the engine control module (ECM).
POS or NEG

VGLA output
The value displays the status of control module output #7 to the VGLA control module.
A key stored in the control module memory gives a LOW signal.
LOW or HIGH

Engine
Indicates which engine was selected when programming a new control module.

Immobilizer status
Should always read normal.
NORM

Relay 1
Indicates the status of relay R1 in the control module.

Relay 2
Indicates the status of relay R2 in the control module.
ON or OFF

Security timer
The timer indicates that the control module is locked after multiple failed programming attempts with an incorrect PIN. It starts at 5 minutes and counts down one step every 10 seconds from 30 to 0.

Ignition on
Indicates the number of times the ignition has been switched on in the car if the ignition has been switched off for at least 3 seconds and switched on for at least 4 seconds. The number is updated (by 10) every tenth time the ignition is switched on.
