Replacing Siren






Siren

Preparation




Make a note of the radio code.
Turn ignition key to position 0.
Remove the battery ground lead.

Removing wheel arch





Remove:
- The right indicator.
- The 3 plugs (A), 1 bolt (B) and take complete wheel arch away.

Removing siren





Remove:
- The grey (GR) connector.
- The bolt (A) and take the washer fluid reservoir from the inner wing. The bolt will not be used again.
- The bolt (D).
- The complete siren.

Installing siren




- Position the siren in the body (B) and (C).
- Fit new bolt (A) and bolt (D). Tighten torque 10 Nm.
- Install the grey connector.

Installing wheel arch
- Mount the wheel arch.
- Mount the right indicator.
- Turn ignition in position II.
- Reconnect the battery ground lead.
If applicable: Re-enter the radio code.
Set the correct time on the clock.
Start engine and read the diagnostic trouble codes.
