Removing the line pressure solenoid
Remove:
- the connector
- the spring clamp. Pull it straight out. Use a small screwdriver to bend the clamp out slightly
- the solenoid from the control system. Use a screwdriver. Insert it between the solenoid and the control system. Carefully pry and pull on the solenoid at the same time. Check that the O-rings remain on the solenoid.
Installing the solenoid
Apply a little petroleum jelly to the sensor O-rings.
Install the solenoid.
Note! The small guide lug on the solenoid should be upwards on installation.
Twist and press in the solenoid so that it bottoms against the control system
Install:
- the spring clamp. Check that the spring clamp is locked
- the connector.
