F3 Checking Supply (X) to Fuse 9

F3 Checking supply (x) to fuse 9 in the central fuse module in the passenger compartment




- Switch off ignition.
- Connect a voltmeter between ground and fusebox pos. 11C/9:2 for fuse 9.
The voltmeter should indicate approx. 0 V.




- Ignition in position I.

- Connect a voltmeter between ground and fusebox pos. 11C/9:2 for fuse 9.
The voltmeter should indicate battery voltage.

If both values OK:
- Continue to F4. F4 Manual Function of Central Locking

If reading is incorrect:
Open circuit or short circuit in supply cable between fusebox pos. 11C/9:2 and ignition switch 3/1.
- Correct fault or replace cable.
Replace the fuses.
