Table Of SRS AB6.2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
- To read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) use the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
- Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE (DTM) in the function menu.
- Select READ DTC.
- Follow the instructions displayed on the screen. (Press the "arrow down" key to read the full DTC text.)

Frozen values
Parameter values are only frozen for the first diagnostic trouble code (DTC) stored. The parameters are back-up power, supply voltage and generator voltage D+.
- To display frozen values press the arrow down" key when reading the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

List of SRS AB6.2 Parameters
- To read parameters use the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) in accordance with CA2.
- Select MONITOR TEST from the function menu.
- Select SCROLLING LIST.
- Press "arrow down" or "arrow up keys to scroll the list.
- Press "arrow left" key to display row number, press "arrow right" to hide row number. When the row number is displayed the parameter text is abbreviated.

Comments On Certain Parameter Values

General
When a fault is posted, a counter for that particular type of fault starts. A general section on how counters work is contained in section: SRS Airbag 6.2, Description of Functions

Row no. 004 in the parameter value table:
Normally (no fault present) 00h00m is displayed.
The two first figures show the hours and the last two show minutes.

The parameter value is not reset with the ignition off. The parameter value is reset when the fault has been remedied and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) erased.

Row no. 005 in the parameter value table:
Normally NO is displayed
If there is a fault YES is displayed.

The parameter value is not reset with the ignition off. The parameter value is reset when the fault has been remedied and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) erased.

Rows 006 to 029 list parameter values:
Normally NO is displayed
If there is a fault YES is displayed.

The parameter value is reset when the ignition is switched off and when the fault has been remedied and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) erased.

Rows 030 and 031 in parameter values list:
Normally NO is displayed
If there is a fault YES is displayed.

This fault is only posted when the engine is running.

The parameter value is reset when the ignition or engine is switched off. The parameter value is not reset when the fault has been remedied and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) erased.
