Checking Diagnostics Lead Resistance to Ground [HB7]

Checking Diagnostics Lead Resistance To Ground





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect DLC.
- Disconnect control module.

Connect an ohmmeter between DLC connector terminal 3 (A3) and ground.
Ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

If reading is OK:
- Check diagnostics lead HB8. Checking Diagnostics Lead [HB8]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between DLC connector terminal 3 (A3) and control module #23 for short-circuit to ground as per HA3. Short Circuit to Ground [HA3]
