Checking Diagnostics Lead





- Ignition off.
- Connect control module.
- Ignition on.

Connect a voltmeter between DLC connector terminal 3 (A3) and ground.
Voltmeter should read 1.5 V below battery supply.

If reading is OK:
- Check control module HB9.

If voltmeter reads approx. 0 V:
- Check lead between DLC connector terminal 3 (A3) and control module #23 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]

If voltmeter reads approx. battery voltage:
- Check lead between DLC connector terminal 3 (A3) and control module #23 for short-circuit to supply as per HA4. Short Circuit to Supply [HA4]
