Check Resistance In Hydraulic Unit Valves [EG4]

Check Resistance In Hydraulic Unit Valves

- Ignition off.
- Disconnect hydraulic unit connector C/ED.

Connect an ohmmeter between hydraulic unit connector C/ED (towards hydraulic unit) terminal 1 and:
- terminal 2 (DTC 4-1-1)
- terminal 3 (DTC 4-1-2)
- terminal 4 (DTC 4-1-3)
- terminal 5 (DTC 4-1-4)
- terminal 6 (DTC 4-2-1)
- terminal 7 (DTC 4-2-2)
- terminal 11(DTC 4-2-3) (TRACS)

For DTCs 4-1-1, 4-1-3, 4-2-1 and 4-2-3, ohmmeter should read 6-8 Ohms.
For DTCs 4-1-2, 4-1-4, and 4-2-2, ohmmeter should read 3-5 Ohms.

If reading is OK:
- Check signal lead EG5. Check Signal Lead [EG5]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between hydraulic unit valve block and connector C/ED for DTC concerned for open circuit, as per HA2 and short-circuit to another lead as per HA4. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

- If lead is OK, try another hydraulic unit as per NE. Service and Repair
