Torque Converter, Draining

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Oil Extracting Device (V.A.G 1358 A)

• Oil Extracting Hose (V.A.G 1358 A/1)

If the transmission fluid becomes dirty due to shavings or during a major transmission overhaul, the torque converter must be drained as follows:

- Extract the fluid from the torque converter using the oil extracting device (V.A.G 1358 A) and the oil extracting hose (V.A.G 1358 A).
