Transmission Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump Control Module (J922)
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)
The transmission auxiliary hydraulic pump control module is inside the right front wheel housing, attached to the bulkhead behind the right front wheel.
• Read and follow the High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings. Refer to => [ High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings ] Service Precautions.
Removal
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the right front wheel housing liner.
- Open the cap - 1 -, pull the black primary locking mechanism on the bracket and then fold open the bracket.
• The connector automatically ejects with the bracket if folded open and the connector is disconnected.
- Disconnect both connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.
- Remove both bolts - arrows - and remove the transmission auxiliary hydraulic pump control module - 1 -, together with the bracket, from the wheel housing.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Tighten both bracket bolts to the body to 9 Nm.
