Transmission Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump Control Module (J922)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

The transmission auxiliary hydraulic pump control module is inside the right front wheel housing, attached to the bulkhead behind the right front wheel.

Read and follow the High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings. Refer to => [ High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings ] Service Precautions.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the right front wheel housing liner.

- Open the cap - 1 -, pull the black primary locking mechanism on the bracket and then fold open the bracket.






The connector automatically ejects with the bracket if folded open and the connector is disconnected.

- Disconnect both connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Remove both bolts - arrows - and remove the transmission auxiliary hydraulic pump control module - 1 -, together with the bracket, from the wheel housing.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten both bracket bolts to the body to 9 Nm.
