Service Position, Resetting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Guide rods (T10093)

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)






Perform the following:

- Slide the lock carrier on the guide pins (T10093) onto the longitudinal members - arrow b -.

- Install bolts - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -.

- Align the lock carrier and its attachments - 1 - on the longitudinal members and between the fenders.

- Screw tightening specification - 2 -: 8 Nm.

- Screw tightening specification - 3 -: 60 Nm.

- Screw tightening specification - 4 -: 8 Nm.

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Make sure charge air cooler pressure hoses are securely attached. Refer to => [ Pressure Hose and Coupling, Locking ] Pressure Hose and Coupling, Locking.

• Hoses and lines must not be pinched.
