Torque Converter Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Piece (T10175)

• Extractor Lever (VW 681)

Removing






- Remove the torque converter seal using the extractor lever (VW 681).

Installing






- Coat the outer circumference and sealing lips of the new seal with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).

• Installed position: The open side of the seal faces the transmission.

- Install the seal using the thrust piece (T10175) until it is flush.
