Instrument Panel, Aligning in Vehicle

• Instrument panel can be aligned in height and diagonally to direction of travel.

- Remove the wiper arms.

- Remove plenum chamber cover.

- Remove the instrument panel cover on each side. Refer to => [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Side Instrument Panel Covers.

- Remove bolt - 1 - on both sides (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the trim - 2 - on both sides of the center console in - direction of arrow -.






- Just loosen the bolts - 1 - and - 2 - (2-3 turns) (20 Nm).






- Just loosen the bolts - 1 - (2-3 turns) (20 Nm).






- Loosen the nuts - 1 - and the nut - 4 - (2-3 turns) (20 Nm).

Instrument Panel, Aligning Height

• Instrument panel height - 3 - is set using eccentric screws - 2 - and - 4 -.

• In the zero position, the longer eccentric surface faces toward outside of vehicle.

• Eccentric must not be turned more than ±90° out of zero position.

- Adjust the height of the instrument panel - 3 - using the eccentric screws - 2 - and - 4 -.

Instrument Panel, Aligning Width

- Push the instrument panel - 3 - into the desired position.






- After aligning the instrument panel inside the vehicle, tighten it to the tightening specification.

Installation of removed components is reverse of removal.
