Fog Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

• Illustrations depict removal and installation of left fog lamp.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Remove the three screws - arrows - and the fog lamp housing from the bumper.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the mounting screws to the tightening specification shown in => [ Fog Lamps Overview ] Fog Lamps Overview.

- Check the function of the fog lamp.

- Check the fog lamp setting and adjust if necessary. Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting
