Steering Column Trim

Removal

• For clarity, the steering wheel is not depicted in the illustration, it is not necessary to remove it.

- Disengage steering wheel adjustment locking lever.

- Pull out steering wheel and push it downward.

- Remove gap cover - 1 - and upper steering column trim - 2 - out of mounts and remove upper steering column trim.

- Remove bolt - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the two bolts - 4 - (1.5 Nm). Turn the steering wheel so that the bolts are accessible.

- Disengage steering wheel adjustment locking lever.

- Disengage lower steering column trim - 5 - out of mounts and remove it.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
