Seals, Sealing Rings

• Always replace O-rings, gaskets and seals.

• After removing gaskets and seals, always inspect contact surfaces at housing or shaft for burrs and damage and repair them.

• Before installing a radial shaft seal, coat outer circumference with transmission oil and pack the space between sealing lips - arrow - up to halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).





• The open side of seals face towards the oil.

• Lubricate O-rings with transmission oil for direct shift transmission before installing, this prevents the rings from being damaged when inserting.

• For oiling purposes, always use only transmission oil for direct shift transmission. Other lubricating substances cause functional problems in the hydraulic transmission control.

• After installing, replace transmission oil filter and transmission oil and adjust oil level while doing so => [ Transmission Oil and Filter ] Transmission Oil and Filter.
