1NZ-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY





(a) Check that the float moves smoothly between the F level (upper end) and E level (lower end).

(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between connector terminals 2 (FS) and 1 (FE) at the upper and lower ends of the float. Check that the resistance varies uniformly.

Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge assembly.
