SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback Front Passenger Side): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Airbag System (for Hatchback with VSC/Built-in Type Yaw Rate Sensor).

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

(b) w/ Limit Switch:

(1) Remove the front seat cushion inner shield. Disassembly (from 07/2011)

(2) Disconnect the connector.

(3) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
