1NZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

(a) Using a 16 mm spark plug wrench, install the 4 spark plugs.

Torque : 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
If a component has been dropped or subjected a strong impact, replace it.

HINT
Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the spark plug Programming and Relearning.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

(a) Install the 4 No. 1 ignition coils with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
If the body or cap of the ignition coil is dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the ignition coil with a new one.

(b) Connect the 4 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.
