Meter / Gauge System (for Hatchback)

METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (for Hatchback): TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the D100 combination meter assembly connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(c) Reconnect the D100 combination meter assembly connector.

(d) Measure the voltage, check for pulse and resistance of the wire harness side connector.









* *1: w/ Fog Light

* *2: w/ Washer Level Warning

If the result is not as specified, the combination meter assembly may have a malfunction.

(1) Waveform 1: Using an oscilloscope









HINT
As the vehicle speed increases, the cycle of the signal waveform narrows.

2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (2 Connector Type)

(a) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Removal (from 07/2011).

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Installation (from 07/2011).

(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (1 Connector Type)

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
