1NZ-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: INTAKE MANIFOLD (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

Removal (From 07/2011)

2. REMOVE STUD BOLT

(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench E6, remove the 3 stud bolts.

3. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

(a) Loosen the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose.

4. DISCONNECT UNION TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE

(a) Loosen the clip and disconnect the union to connector tube hose.

5. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps and separate the wire harness.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 wire harness brackets.

(d) Remove the oil level dipstick.

(e) Remove the 2 nuts, 3 bolts and the intake manifold.

(f) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
