1NZ-FE COOLING: COOLING FAN MOTOR (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Be sure that the ignition is off if you work near the electric cooling fans or radiator grille. With the ignition on, the electric cooling fans may automatically start to run if the engine coolant temperature is high and/or the air conditioning is on.

1. DRAIN COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal (from 07/2011)

3. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE Removal (from 07/2011)

4. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE Removal (from 07/2011)

5. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal (from 07/2011)

6. REMOVE FAN

(a) Remove the nut and the fan.





7. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR

(a) Remove the 3 screws and the cooling fan motor.
