Removal (from 07/2011)

BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): PROPORTIONING VALVE (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE CENTER COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER Service and Repair

2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.

3. REMOVE BATTERY Removal (from 07/2011)

4. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

5. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER Removal (from 07/2011)

6. REMOVE PROPORTIONING VALVE

(a) Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the 6 brake tubes from the proportioning valve and the brake tube way.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the proportioning valve bracket.





(c) Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, remove the 3 brake tubes from the proportioning valve and the brake tube way.





(d) Remove the 2 nuts and the proportioning valve from the proportioning valve bracket.
