2GR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER

(a) Remove the 5 clips and No. 1 floor under cover.





3. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 quick connectors, hose and connector.





(b) Remove the 4 nuts, 2 clips and charcoal canister assembly.
