Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 4 guides.

(b) Install the separate type front seatback spring assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 2 guides to install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

(b) Install the screw.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the clip to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

(b) Install the screw.

(c) Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 guides to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the 3 clamps to install the No. 2 front seat wire to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 5 new hog rings

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks.

(e) Using hog ring pliers, install the fastening rubber to the front seatback spring with 3 new hog rings.

* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(f) Close the 2 fasteners.

(g) Push in the lower part of 2 fasteners to the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

(h) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(i) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 11 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Engage each hook to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(d) Connect the connector and engage the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness.

(e) Engage the 3 clamps to connect the seat heater wire harness.

(f) Engage the 4 hooks.

(g) Connect the rubber band.

13. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 5 claws to install the front inner seat cushion shield.

14. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 2 clamps to install the No. 1 front seat wire to the front seat cushion shield.

15. INSTALL LUMBAR SWITCH (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH Installation

17. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

18. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.

(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Engage the guide and 5 claws.

(d) Engage the clip to install the front seat cushion shield assembly.

(e) Engage the 6 clamps.

(f) Connect the 4 connectors.

20. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 2 claws and clip.

(b) Engage the guide to install the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield to the front seat cushion shield with the screw.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

22. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Install the seat adjuster cover cap.
