Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the guide, 2 claws and clip, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.





(b) Disengage the 6 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 front seat wire.

(c) Disengage the clip.





(d) Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

(e) Disengage the 5 claws and disconnect the front seat cushion shield assembly.

(f) Disconnect the 2 connectors.





(g) Disengage the clamp and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

5. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.





6. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.





7. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH Removal

8. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clamps, and remove the No. 1 front seat wire from the front seat cushion shield.





10. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front inner seat cushion shield.





11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disconnect the rubber band.





(b) Disengage the 4 hooks.





(c) Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.





(d) Disconnect the connector.





(e) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(f) Disengage the fastener and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.

(g) Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.





(h) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.





12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings





(b) Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.





13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 3 hog rings.





(c) Pull out the lower part of 2 fasteners from the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.





(d) Open the 2 fasteners.





(e) Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the 2 fastening rubbers.

(f) Disengage the 2 hooks.





(g) Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.





(h) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.





(i) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 5 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 2 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.





15. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.





(b) Disengage the 3 clamps and remove the No. 2 front seat wire from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.





17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the screw.





(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

20. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

21. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 4 guides and remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
