Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Engage the 2 hooks to install the seat track adjusting handle to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the separate type front seatback spring assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage the 7 clamps to install the front seat wire RH.

(b) Connect the 4 connectors.

5. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Install the front seat cushion cover RH to the occupant classification ECU as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the clip.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

8. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Engage the clip to temporarily install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.

(b) Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide and install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 5 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

(b) Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks.

(e) Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback spring assembly with 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(f) Close the 2 fasteners.

(g) Push in the lower part of 2 fasteners to the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

(h) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(i) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 11 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Engage each hook to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(d) Engage the fastener to connect the side airbag wire harness.

(e) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Engage the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness.

(2) Connect the connector.

(3) Engage the 4 clamps to connect the seat heater wire harness.

(f) Engage the 4 hooks.

(g) Connect the rubber band.

17. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 5 claws to install the front inner seat cushion shield.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the clip and 6 claws to install the front seat cushion shield.

(b) Install the screw.

20. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

22. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Install the seat adjuster cover cap.
