Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.





4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 6 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front inner seat cushion shield.





7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disconnect the rubber band.





(b) Disengage the 4 hooks.





(c) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Disengage the 4 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.





(2) Disconnect the connector.





(3) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(d) Disengage the fastener and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.





(e) for Front Passenger Side:

(1) Disengage the hook and disconnect the belt warning occupant detection sensor.





(f) Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.





(g) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.





8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.





9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 3 hog rings.





(c) Pull out the lower part of 2 fasteners from the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.





(d) Open the 2 fasteners.





(e) Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the 2 fastening rubbers.

(f) Disengage the 2 hooks.





(g) Turn back the separate type front seatback cover and remove the nut, and remove the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.





(h) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.





(i) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring sub-assembly.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 5 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 2 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.





11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.





12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the screw.





(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

16. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.





(b) Remove the front seat cushion cover RH from the occupant classification ECU as shown in the illustration.





18. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

19. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR Removal

20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.





(b) Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the front seat wire RH from the front seat cushion spring assembly.

21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.





22. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat track adjusting handle from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
