EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Remove the 3 clips.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator support opening cover.

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(b) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(c) Remove the screw.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(d) w/o Front Spoiler:

(1) Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.





(2) Remove the 2 bolts.

(3) Remove the 4 screws





(e) w/ Front Spoiler:

(1) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.





(2) Remove the 6 bolts and 6 screws, and front spoiler cover.

(3) Remove the 2 bolts.





(4) Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.

(f) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(g) Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector.





NOTICE:
Do not apply excessive force when separating the front bumper.

(h) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

(1) Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and drain the washer fluid.





HINT
Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

(i) Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
