Exterior Lighting System





LIGHTING (EXT): LIGHTING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY

(a) Disconnect the E91 relay connector.





(b) Measure the voltage between the specified terminals of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.

Standard Voltage:





* *1: for TMC Made

* *2: except TMC Made

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Measure the resistance between the specified terminals of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Reconnect the E91 relay connector.

(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





* *1: w/ Automatic Light Control Sensor

* *2: except TMC Made

If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(f) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





* *1: for TMC Made

* *2: except TMC Made

* *3: Automatic Light Control Sensor

If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

If the ambient light becomes brighter, width A becomes narrower.
