DESCRIPTION

When the power switch is on (IG), the power window regulator motor assembly RH (for rear RH door) is operated by the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH door).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR) - AUXILIARY BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH door) connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR)

(a) Remove the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH door) Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance when the switch is operated according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (FOR REAR RH DOOR) - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)

(a) Disconnect the power window regulator motor assembly RH (for rear RH door) connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance when the switch is operated according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (FOR REAR RH DOOR)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (FOR REAR RH DOOR) Removal
