Removal





DOOR LOCK: DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH Removal

7. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Removal

8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.

9. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER (w/o Tire Pressure Warning System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and door control receiver.

10. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL AND TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tire Pressure Warning System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and door control and tire pressure monitoring system receiver assembly.
