INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK OPERATION

(a) Press the disc eject switch of the radio and display receiver assembly for 5 seconds or more and check that the disc is ejected.

OK:

Disc is ejected.

NG -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE DISC AND RECHECK

(a) Replace the disc with a known good one and check that the malfunction disappears.

OK:

Disc is ejected.

NG -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- DISC WAS FAULTY
