1AR-FE COOLING: WATER PUMP: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket and the water pump with the 7 bolts.





Torque : 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY Reassembly

3. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET Installation

5. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

8. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

11. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

12. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
