Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.





2. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE)

(a) Remove the 4 screws, 4 clips and No. 4 engine under cover.





3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE)

(a) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(b) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

(c) Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 7 clips.

(d) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.





(e) Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE)

(a) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(b) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

(c) Remove the 4 screws, 2 bolts and 7 clips.

(d) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.





(e) w/ Fog Light:

(1) Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.
