WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the M2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the M2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator master switch assembly may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disconnect the H6 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the H6 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side)

(a) Disconnect the K6 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the K6 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.

4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side)

(a) Disconnect the J6 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the J6 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.

5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

(a) Disconnect the I8 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the I8 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) may have a malfunction.

6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disconnect the H9 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the H9 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.

7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side)

(a) Disconnect the K7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the K7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.

8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side)

(a) Disconnect the J7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the J7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.

9. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B)

(a) Disconnect the ID, IF and IM main body ECU (instrument panel J/B) connectors.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the ID, IF and IM main body ECU (instrument panel J/B) connectors.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (instrument panel J/B) may have a malfunction.
