2GR-FE INTAKE: VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE

(a) Check the VSV resistance.





Resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV.

(c) Check VSV operation.





(1) Check that air flows from port E to the filter.

(2) Apply battery voltage across the terminals. Check that air flows from port E to port F.





(3) If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV.
