E351 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY:

REMOVAL

HINT: COMPONENTS: Partial engine assembly (Components).

1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

HINT: (Removal)

2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: (Removal)

3. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH

HINT: (Removal)

4. REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

HINT: (Removal)

5. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

HINT: (Disassembly)

6. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS
(a) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
(b) Disconnect the back-up light switch connector, speedometer sensor connector and starter connector.
7. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE WIRE





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 3 engine wire.
8. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP





(a) Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp.
9. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly.
10. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and front engine mounting bracket.
11. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION CASE PROTECTOR





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and manual transmission case protector.
12. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket.
13. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR LH





(a) Remove the 4 bolts and engine mounting insulator LH.
14. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 10 bolts.
(b) Separate and remove the transaxle from the engine.
