SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Coupe):

COMPONENTS









REMOVAL

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts).

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the seatback frame can cause injuries to your hands.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY





(a) Pull up the 2 front portions of the seat cushion, then remove it.

NOTE: The cushion frame deforms easily. To avoid deforming the seat cushion, place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration, and then pull up on the seat cushion. Do the same for the other hook.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Fully fold down the seatback forward.
(b) Pull back the spring loaded hammer.
(c) While holding back the hammer, pull the seat towards the front of the vehicle.





(d) Pull the seatback hinge RH and remove the seatback.
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE





(a) Remove the 2 nuts and seatback hinge.
