Removal









WIPER AND WASHER: REAR WIPER MOTOR:

COMPONENTS





REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM COVER
2. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the rear wiper arm cover.
(b) Remove the nut and the rear wiper arm & blade assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK CAP
4. REMOVE W/WASHER PACKING NUT REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT





(a) Using a deep socket wrench (24mm), remove the w/washer packing nut rear wiper link pivot.
5. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR COVER





(a) Open the back door glass.
(b) Using a screwdriver, release the 9 claws and remove the rear wiper motor cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

6. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 2 rear defogger connectors.





(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the rear wiper motor & bracket assembly with shaft cover assembly.





(c) Disconnect the connector.
(d) Remove the nut and junction switch.





(e) Remove the 3 screws and the rear wiper motor & bracket assembly.





(f) Remove the 3 bolts and the rear wiper motor assembly.
7. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET
