PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER:

COMPONENTS

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO. 1
(a) Connect the parking brake cable assembly No. 1 to the equalizer and install the parking brake cable assembly No. 1.
2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR NO. 2

(a) Install the front floor heat insulator No. 2 with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
3. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR NO. 1

(a) Install the front floor heat insulator No. 1 with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY FRONT (Installation)

5. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake switch to the parking brake lever sub-assembly with the screw.
6. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake cable assembly No. 1 to the parking brake lever, temporarily tighten the adjusting nut and lock nut.
(b) Using a screwdriver, fix the parking brake cable No. 1 to the pick.

(d) Connect the parking brake switch connector to the parking brake switch.
7. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (Adjustments)

8. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (Adjustments)

9. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY REAR
(a) Connect the connector to the console box assembly rear.

(b) Install the console box assembly with the 4 bolts.
(c) Install the console box insert and console box damper RR.
