SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side):

COMPONENTS










DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Remove the bolt and belt.
(b) Remove the screw.
(c) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and clip. Then remove the cushion shield inner RH together with the wire harness of the inner belt.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the cushion shield inner RH from the wire harness of the inner belt.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(e) Disengage the clamps and disconnect the connector. Then remove the belt.
3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH
(a) Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the release handle.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and clip. Then remove the cushion shield.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(b) Remove the screw.
(c) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the seatback shield.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

6. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





(a) w/ Side airbag only:
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the wire harness of the side airbag from the seatback shield.
7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Remove the 4 bolts and seatback.
8. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD RH





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
(b) Pull the seatback board in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and disengage the 2 hooks. Then, remove the seatback board.
9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK LH
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock (together with front seat hinge cover).
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat hinge cover from the seatback lock.
10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD
12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER





(a) Remove the hog rings. Then open the upper part of the seatback cover.
(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.





(c) w/ Side airbag:
Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.
(d) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover (together with the pad from the seatback frame.
(e) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.
13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER





(a) Disengage the hook and remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover (together with the pad) from the seat adjuster.
(b) Remove the hog rings and cushion cover.
14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (UPPER)
(a) Remove the screw and inside cover.
15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (UPPER)
(a) Remove the screw and inside cover.
16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (LOWER)
(a) Remove the screw and inside cover.
17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (LOWER)
(a) Remove the screw and inside cover.
18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH
(a) Disconnect the connectors and disengage the clamps. Then remove the seat wire.
