Luggage Compartment Door Lock Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The luggage compartment door unlock motor is built into the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
The main body ECU receives a luggage compartment door unlock signal from the luggage compartment door lock cylinder or electrical key switch and operates the door unlock motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the door lock operates.

MAIN BODY:





OK:
Door lock is locked/unlocked.
NG -- INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (DOOR LOCK MOTOR)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (DOOR LOCK MOTOR)





(a) Remove the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
(b) Apply battery voltage and check operation of the door lock motor.

OK:





NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK - MAIN BODY ECU)





(a) Disconnect the ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
