EGR Valve: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS FOR EGR VALVE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION




2. REMOVE EGR VALVE
- Disconnect these hoses from the EGR valve:
- Vacuum hose (from port E of VSV)
- EGR hose (from vacuum modulator)
- Loosen the 2 union nuts on the EGR pipe.
- Remove the 2 nuts, EGR valve and gasket.

4. INSTALLATION OF EGR VALVE
- Install a new gasket and the EGR valve with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 13 N.m (130 Kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)

- Install the EGR pipe with the 2 union nuts.

Torque: 59 N.m (600 Kgf.cm, 43 ft.lbf)

- Connect these hoses to the EGR valve:
- Vacuum hose (from port E of VSV)
- EGR hose (from vacuum modulator)
