Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS WILL ERASE THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES AND FREEZED FRAME DATA.




1. Operating the OBDII scan tool (complying with SAE J1978) or TOYOTA hand-held tester to erase the codes.

2. Disconnecting the battery terminals or removing the 15 amp "EFI" fuse from Junction Block 2 in the engine compartment.
