DTC 16 - ECT Control Signal (With A/T ONLY)

- This trouble code indicates a loss of communication between the transmission control and the engine control circuits of the ECM or a faulty ECM.

- Editor's Note:
- Toyota provides no indication of diagnostic procedures for this code.
- Substitute a known good ECM and retest.
- If DTC 16 is not displayed, replace ECM.
