Cold Start Injector: Service and Repair

Cold Start Injector, Exploded View:

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect cold start injector connector.

Cold Start Injector Fuel Pipe Removal:

3. Place a suitable container or shop towel under the injector pipe.

4. Remove union bolt and two gaskets. Disconnect injector pipe.

WARNING: Fuel system may be under pressure, loosen union bolt slowly.

Cold Start Injector Retaining Bolts:

5. Remove two nuts, cold start injector and gasket.

6. Reverse removal procedures to install.
